What lesson is God teaching me?

The top religious leaders were the ones to arrest Jesus. It is because the High Priest did not have
the spiritual insight to recognize Jesus, the true High Priest. Be careful that you do not make the same
mistake as you study the word and teach it.
Peter, unlike Jesus who stood strong in the face of authority, denied that he was Jesus’ disciple to a
powerless servant. Jesus said, “I am he” three times and showed himself (Vv. 5,6,8) but Peter said, “I am not” three times and denied Christ and hid himself.
Are we also being afraid and cowardly, hiding at times when we need to actively show our faith?
Look at Peter who is continually denying being Jesus’ disciple. Are you also denying that you are a Christian, and enjoying the warm fire of the world?
We can hear the rooster crowing. Reveal your true self.

Enable me to see Jesus’ power as being greater then the trials I am facing.
