What lesson is God teaching me?

There are times when the ways of the world do not match the ways of God. Wickedness and rebellion,
plunder and violence, argument and disputes are all evidence that the people have left God. Therefore the immorality of the people is not a sign that God is absent but that the people have left God.
Babylon ruled the war zone of the Near East and controlled the soldiers, culture, and economy.
But they trusted too much in their own might and after they conquered Judah, met with their own downfall (Isa 47:1). Are you turning the glory to God with the materials and power you have? Or are you just filling your own pride? You must trust in God who is the manager of your life.
