The Secret at the Wedding in Cana
가나 결혼식의 비밀
Jesus reveals a new age through the first of his miraculous signs: turning water into wine.
예수님이 오셔서 열어 주시는 새로운 시대가 어떠한지를 혼인잔치 집에서 물로 포도주를 만드신 첫 번째 표적을 통해 드러내십니다.

Thinking & Understanding
There are seven miraculous signs Jesus performed in the Gospel of John. These are not simply amazing and wonderful miracles, but signs to show the real identity of Jesus - the Son of God. Turning water into wine is the first sign Jesus performed (vv. 1-5). Through this sign, Jesus exposed himself as the Messiah who gives true rest and abundant life to those who believe. It also caused the disciples to believe in Him and understand more clearly who Jesus was as a result of this miracle (vv. 6-12).
요한복음에는 예수님이 행하신 일곱 이적(異蹟)이 나오는데, 이것들은 단순히 신비롭고 놀라운 기적이 아니라 하나님의 아들이신 예수님의 실체를 보여 주는 표적이라 할 수 있습니다. 가나 혼인잔치 집에서 물로 포도주를 만든 사건은 예수님이 행하신 첫 표적입니다(1-5절). 예수님은 이 표적을 통해 자신이 메시야, 곧 믿는 자에게 참된 안식과 풍성한 생명을 주시는 분임을 드러내셨습니다. 제자들도 이 표적을 통해 예수님을 더욱 확실히 믿게 되었습니다(6-12절).

What lesson is God teaching me?
As abundant wine signifies abundant blessing (Ge 49:11,12; Am 9:13-14; Hos 14:7; Jer 31:12), the sign Jesus performed at the wedding in Cana shows that Jesus came to give us the abundant blessing of salvation. Jesus not only provides for our needs in everything, but His provision is also abundant. Pray to expect the work of the Lord, who intervenes in our lives and fills our empty lives with abundance.
풍성한 포도주는 풍성한 복을 의미하는 것으로(창 49:11,12; 암 9:13,14; 호 14:7; 렘31:12), 예수님이 가나 결혼 잔치에서 행하신 표적은 예수님이 풍성한 복(구원)을 주시려고 오신 분이라는 것을 보여 줍니다. 예수님은 우리의 모든 부족함을 채우실 뿐 아니라 풍성하게 하십니다. 올 한 해 내 삶에 간섭하셔서 텅 빈 삶을 풍성하게 채워 주실 주님의 역사를 기대하며 기도합시다.
