내게 주는 교훈

내니 두려워 말라
The sign of Jesus walking on water is not a simple miracle, but shows who Jesus is. What characteristic of Jesus does this miracle reveal?
예수님의 표적은 단순한 이적이 아니라 예수님이 어떤 분인지 보여 주기 위한 것입니다. 물 위를 걸어오신 표적이 드러내는 예수님의 본질은 무엇입니까?

Thinking & Understanding
Jesus was walking on the water to approach disciples who were in trouble because of strong winds and high waves. This account exposes that Jesus is God: Who rules over the waters and can walk on water (vv. 16-21).
People who saw the miracle of the ‘Five Loaves and Two Fish’ looked desperately for Jesus; and when they could not find Him, they used several boats to follow the direction of the disciples. They did not want Jesus because they believed in Him; they wanted Jesus to satisfy their human desires though miracles (vv. 22-29).
예수님께서 큰 바람이 불어 물결이 높은 데서 고생하는 제자들에게 다가가시려고 물위를 걸어오십니다. 이는 예수님이 물을 다스리며 물 위를 걸으실 수 있는 하나님이심을 드러내는 사건입니다(16-21절).
오병이어의 기적을 보았던 사람들은 배 여러 척을 동원하면서까지 필사적으로 예수님을 찾아다닙니다. 그러나 그들이 원하는 것은 예수님이 아니라, 자신들의 인간적인 욕망을 채워줄 예수님의 표적이었습니다. (22-29절).

What lesson is God teaching me?
Jesus rules over all creation. What troubles and difficulties in my life are like the storm the disciples faced? Bring them to Jesus who rules over all creation.
Consider the reasons for following Jesus. Am I more concerned about my spiritual or my physical life? Always look for Jesus alone and do not seek perishable desires, as we are called to follow Jesus.
예수님은 모든 만물을 다스리시는 분입니다. 내 삶에 폭풍 같은 문제와 어려움은 무엇입니까? 모든 만물을 다스리시는 예수님에게 나아가시기 바랍니다.
내가 예수님을 따르는 이유는 영적인 생활과 육적인 생활 중 어디에 더 비중이 있는지 생각해 봅시다. 예수님을 따른다면서도 썩어 없어질 양식을 구하며 살지 않도록 언제나 오직 한 분 예수님을 구합시다.
