생명의 빵

Thinking & Understanding
As Moses fed the Israelites with manna from heaven in the desert, so people asked Jesus for food from heaven. They expected Him to fill their physical needs, but not their spiritual needs (vv. 30-34). But Jesus proclaimed to them that the bread of God is Jesus Himself. Even though we have the bread of the world, we are soon hungry and thirsty again. This bread does not bring true life, but Jesus, as the bread of life from heaven, completely fulfills the eternal need of all who come to Him (vv. 35-40).
사람들은 예수님에게 모세가 광야에서 만나내려 이스라엘 백성을 먹인 것 같이 음식을 내려 달라고 요구했습니다. 그들은 자신들의 영적 필요가 아닌 물질적인 필요가 채워지기를 기대한 것입니다(30-34절). 하지만 예수님은 무리들에게 하나님의 빵은 바로 예수님 자신이라고 선언하셨습니다. 세상의 빵은 먹어도 다시 배고프고 목마르게 하여 진정한 생명을 가져다주지 못하지만, 예수님은 하늘에서 온 생명의 떡으로 그분께 나오는 자들의 영원한 필요를 완전히 충족해 주십니다(35-40절).

What lesson is God teaching me?
Jesus testified that He is the Son of God through many miracles. But as people saw the miracles of Jesus, they tried to fill their physical needs alone. What do I think is important in my life? Repent from a life of working hard for the manna of this earth; and seek the food of heaven that Jesus provides.
예수님은 여러 기적들을 통해 자신이 하나님의 아들이심을 증거하셨습니다. 그러나 사람들은 예수님의 기적만을 바라보며 자신들의 육적인 필요만을 채우려고 하였습니다. 내가 신앙생활에서 중요하게 생각하는 것은 무엇입니까? 이젠 이 땅의 만나를 위해 수고하는 삶에서 돌이켜 하늘 양식을 구하며 삽시다.
