Jesus Came from God
하나님에게서 오신 예수님
As the Jews insisted that Jesus could not be the Messiah according to their own logic, Jesus provided testimony about where He was from and His exact origin.
예수님이 메시아일리 없다는 주장을 유대인들 나름으로 하나하나 펼쳐 나가자, 예수님은 자신이 어디서 오셨는지 그 정확한 기원에 대해 친히 증거하십니다.

Thinking & Understanding
People in Jerusalem could not accept the fact that Jesus was the Messiah. According to their tradition, no one would know where the Christ was from, yet people knew where Jesus’ hometown was. But this tradition was wrong. The Bible prophesied clearly in Micah 5:2 that Jesus would be born in Bethlehem (vv. 25-30). They thought they already knew all about the Messiah, and it resulted in their knowing nothing about Him. Jesus said He would stay for a little while and then return to the Him who sent me. They misunderstood His words and thought He would go to another country (vv. 31-36).
예루살렘 사람들은 예수님이 그리스도라는 사실을 받아들일 수 없었습니다. 전통에 따르면 그리스도는 어디에서 오시는지 아무도 모를 거라고 했는데, 사람들은 예수님의 고향이 어디인지 알고 있었기 때문입니다. 그러나 이 전통은 잘못된 것이었습니다. 성경은 명백하게 예수님이 베들레헴에서(미5:2) 태어나실 것을 예언했습니다(25-30절). 예수님을 좀 안다고 생각하는 것이 오히려 전혀 알지 못하는 결과를 낳았습니다.
예수님은 이 땅에 잠시 동안만 있다가 하나님에게로 갈 것이라고 말씀하셨습니다. 하지만 유대인들은 그 말씀을 이해하지 못하고 단지 다른 나라로 가시려는 것으로 생각했습니다(31-36절).

What lesson is God teaching me?
Long before Jesus came to the world, God prophesied that Jesus would come through many prophets in the Old Testament. But the wrong tradition of the Jews prevented them from understanding these words from God. What wrong tradition prevents me from understanding God?
