내게 주는 교훈

Unless You Believe That I Am the One
내가 그인 줄 믿지 아니하면
The Lord revealed His divine identity to people who did not accept Him. Jesus said, “I am the One!” and clarified He is the same One as Jehovah God in the Old Testament.
예수님을 영접하지 않는 자들을 향해 신적인 정체성을 드러내시던 주님은 “내가 그이”라고 말씀하셔서 구약의 여호와 하나님과 동등한 분이라고 밝히고 있습니다.

Thinking & Understanding
Jesus kept proclaiming over and over that He is the Son of God, and that he would die, rise again and return back to God according to God’s plan. He also warned there would be judgment for those who did not believe in Him. The Israelite people thought, at that time, that when the Messiah was revealed, that they would be saved immediately and that only the Gentiles would be judged when the Christ would come. The standard of judgment does not depend on one’s nationality, but as Jesus said, in belief in Him as the Son of God (vv. 21-30).
예수님은 계속해서 자신이 하나님의 아들이며, 하나님의 계획에 따라 죽으시고 살아나셔서 다시 하나님께 돌아가신다고 반복해서 선언하십니다. 또한 믿지 않는 자들에게는 심판이 있다고 경고하셨습니다. 당시 이스라엘 사람들은 그리스도가 오시면, 자신들은 아브라함의 자손이기에 바로 구원받고, 이방인들은 심판받는다고 생각했습니다. 하지만 예수님은 심판의 기준은 ‘아브라함의 자손이냐 이방인이냐?’가 아니라, 하나님의 아들로 오신 예수님을 ‘믿느냐 믿지 않았느냐?’라고 말씀하셨습니다 (21-30절).

What lesson is God teaching me?
Jesus revealed God’s will and plan plainly. He was not concerned at all with His own glory and situation. This teaches us, those who follow the Lord, how to live. Unlike Jesus, do we calculate our worship of God according to our situation?
예수님은 하나님의 뜻과 계획을 신실하게 드러내셨습니다. 자신의 영광이나 상황은 전혀 계산하지 않으셨습니다. 이것은 주님을 따르는 우리 역시 어떻게 살아야 하는지를 교훈합니다. 우리는 예수님과 달리 우리의 형편에 따라 계산적으로 하나님을 섬기고 있지는 않습니까?
