True Disciples and Hypocrites
참 제자와 위선자
Jesus taught about true faith to the many people who heard His words, but they did not believe Him. True faith leads to discipleship that abides in and obeys the Word.
예수님의 말씀을 듣고 그를 믿은 많은 사람들에게 참된 믿음에 대해서 말씀하십니다. 그 믿음은 말씀 안에 거하면서 그 말씀을 지키는 제자도로 연결됩니다.

Thinking & Understanding
Jesus said that anyone who tightly holds His teaching is a true disciple; and those who hold on to the teaching of Jesus will know truth and the truth will free them from their slavery (vv. 31-32).
Jesus pointed out that the Jews were proud that they were descendants of Abraham, but they did not practice the deeds of Abraham. Abraham believed God, but they did not believe in Jesus, the Son of God. In fact, they killed Him. If the Jews were true descendants of Abraham, they should have listened to Jesus, who was sent to them by God (vv. 33-41).
예수님은 자신의 가르침을 꼭 붙드는 사람이 진정한 제자라고 말씀하셨습니다. 그리고 예수님의 가르침을 붙드는 사람은 진리를 알게 되고 그 진리가 그들을 자유하게 할 것이라고 말씀하셨습니다(31-32절).
예수님은 유대인들이 아브라함의 자손임을 자랑하지만 아브라함의 행동을 따르지는 않는다고 지적하셨습니다. 아브라함은 하나님을 믿었지만 오히려 그들은 하나님의 아들이신 예수님을 믿지 않고 죽이려고 한 것입니다. 유대인들이 아브라함의 진정한 후손이라면 그들의 삶 가운데 하나님이 보내신 예수님을 모셔 들이는 결과가 있었어야했습니다 (33-41절).

What lesson is God teaching me?
The Jews who tried to kill Jesus, whom Abraham saw and believed, were the superficial descendants of Abraham. When I see the fruit of my life today, does it clearly reveal who I belong to? Do I have any signs in my life that I belong to Jesus?
아브라함도 보고 믿었던 예수님을 믿지 않고 죽이려했던 유대인들은 표면만 아브라함의 자손이었습니다. 오늘 내 삶의 열매를 볼 때, 내가 누구에게 속해 있는지 확실히 드러납니다. 내 삶에는 예수님께 속해있다는 있다는 표시가 있습니까?
