내게 주는 교훈

A Blessed Person
복 있는 사람은…
Psalms 1 and 2 speak of the foundations of faith found in the Old Testament, which are the law (Ps 1) and the prophets (Ps 2). The two psalms describe the attitudes that one must have regarding these topics and divides those who will be blessed from those who are sinners, and divides the righteous from the wicked.
시편 1편과 2편은 구약 신앙의 두 근간인 율법(1편)과 예언(2편)을 각각 말하고 있으며, 이에 대해 어떤 태도를 취하느냐에 따라 복 있는 자와 죄인, 의인과 악인의 운명으로 갈립니다.

Thinking & Understanding
A blessed person thinks (meditates) on the Word of God deeply and acts accordingly. He is like a tree moved next to a stream and will not whither and will grow much fruit when in season (vv. 1-3). But the wicked hate the teachings of God and do not follow them. So they will be like the wind blows away and live an unstable life with no meaning and will be judged by God (vv. 4-5). Therefore, the happiness of life is set upon which road you choose and the correct road that we must go down is the one with God’s teaching (Word; v. 6).
복 있는 사람은 늘 하나님의 가르침을 깊이 생각(묵상)하며 행동하므로, 시냇가에 옮겨 심은 나무처럼 시들지 않고 계절마다 풍성히 열매 맺습니다(1-3절). 하지만 나쁜 사람들은 하나님의 가르침을 싫어하고 따르지 않기 때문에, 바람에 쉽게 날아가는 겨와 같이 불안정하고 무의미한 삶을 살게 되고, 하나님의 심판을 받게 됩니다(4-5절). 결국 인생의 행복은 어떤 길을 가느냐에 달려 있으며, 우리 인생이 걸어야 할 올바른 길은 하나님의 가르침(말씀)을 따르는, 오직 한 길 뿐입니다(6절).

What Lesson is God Teaching Me?
Just as we are led by a guide when we go on vacation to a new place that we are unfamiliar with, it is very important and natural for us to be led by God who created the world and thus knows the world the best. Are you meditating with a joyful heart so that you can receive God’s teaching?
우리가 낯선 여행지에서 그곳 지리를 잘 아는 가이드의 안내를 받는 것처럼, 이 세상을 만드시고 그래서 이 세상을 가장 잘 아시는 하나님의 안내(인도)를 받는 것은 지극히 당연한 것입니다. 나는 즐거운 마음으로 하나님의 가르침을 받기 위해 묵상하고 있습니까?
