내게 주는 교훈

Lord, Please Return
여호와여 돌아오소서!
This psalm is a song written after David had sinned before God. David sought after God’s compassion every night and asked that the Lord return to him.
이 시는 다윗이 하나님 앞에 범죄하고 난 후 회개하는 시입니다. 다윗은 밤마다 하나님께 긍휼을 구하며 주께서 자기에게 돌아오시기만을 바랐습니다.

Thinking & Understanding
David realized how angry and full of wrath God was because of his sin, so he felt so much pain that his bones were in agony and his soul was in anguish. This was a spiritual pain that he felt, it seemed like God was leaving him. In this hardship David poured out all his strength and tears, and earnestly sought God’s forgiveness and repentance. Also, he trusted in God’s unchanging love and asked that God return to him and save him (vv. 1-7).
Out of his unconditional love, God poured out his mercy upon David and forgave his sin. David was renewed in strength after he was forgiven and tells all those who do evil to leave him (vv. 8-10)
하나님이 자신의 죄에 대해 얼마나 노여워하시며 분노하시는지를 깨달은 다윗은 뼈마디가 떨리고 마음이 찢어질 듯한 고통을 느꼈습니다. 그 고통은 하나님이 자신을 떠나신 것처럼 느껴지는 영적인 고통이었습니다. 다윗은 이러한 죽음의 고통 속에서, 마치 자신의 몸에서 힘과 눈물을 다 쥐어 짜내듯이 그렇게 간절히 그리고 철저히 하나님께 회개했습니다. 그리고 하나님의 변함없는 사랑을 의지하며 하나님이 돌아오셔서 자신을 구해 주시기를 간구합니다(1-7절).
하나님은 변함없는 사랑으로 자비를 베푸셔서 다윗의 죄를 용서해 주셨습니다. 하나님께 용서의 응답을 받은 다윗은 새 힘을 얻어서, 악한 일을 저지르는 자들을 향해 자신에게서 떠나가라고 말합니다(8-10절).

What Lesson is God Teaching Me?
Sin is not solved when you hide it, but it gets solved when you bring it to God. When David was honestly hurt by his sin and repented, God poured out his compassion upon him through his unconditional love. Are you looking for mercy without repentance?
죄는 감출 때 해결되는 것이 아니라 하나님께 드러낼 때 해결됩니다. 다윗이 처절하게 자신의 죄를 아파하고 회개할 때, 하나님께서는 변함없는 사랑으로 자비를 베풀어 주셨습니다. 우리는 혹, 회개 없이 자비만 구하고 있지는 않습니까?
