내게 주는 교훈

From Absence to Presence, From Far to Near
부재에서 임재로, 멀리에서 가까이로
The psalmist saw a world where he felt that only the strength and plans of the wicked were working, so he asks that God rise up and personally become his king and stand by the side of the weak and oppressed and help them.
시인은 악인의 힘과 계획만이 통하는 것 같은 세상을 보면서, 하나님이 일어나셔서 친히 왕 되심을 보이시고 고난당하는 약자들의 편에서 도와 달라고 간구합니다.

Thinking & Understanding
When God was hiding, wicked men foolishly thought that God did not exist. So they followed their unclean desires without fear, and killed the weak like hungry lions hunting for their prey. They thought God was not watching so they acted upon their wicked desires. Even today, there are weak people, swayed by wicked men, who believe in this reasoning. If we look away from the wicked actions of these men, it is no different than admitting that their actions are correct. Let us seek help from God so that we do not excuse the actions of wicked men (v. 7-11).
하나님이 숨어계실 때, 악한 사람들은 어리석게도 하나님이 안 계신다고 생각했습니다. 그래서 두려움 없이 자기의 더러운 욕심을 좇았으며, 마치 숨어서 먹이를 노리는 굶주린 사자처럼, 힘없는 자들을 엿보고 죽였습니다. 하나님이 보시지 않는다고 생각하며 제멋대로 횡포를 부렸습니다. 지금도 이런 힘 있는 자들의 시장 논리에 휘둘리는 약자들이 곳곳에 있습니다. 우리가 외면한다면 악인의 행동을 옳다고 인정하는 것과 같습니다. 하나님께 도움을 구합시다(7-11절).

What Lesson is God Teaching Me?
There are times when it seems that God is far away and hiding from us. There are times when it feels that the arrogant ridicule of the wicked are hurting us. But we need to cry out for God like the psalmist did and confess and acknowledge that God is alive.
하나님이 때로 멀리 숨어 계신 것처럼 보일 때가 있습니다. 그래서 하나님이 없다는 악인의 교만한 조롱이 맞는 듯이 여겨질 때도 있습니다. 하지만 시인처럼 ‘여호와여!’ 하고 외치는 고백으로 하나님의 살아 계심을 인정하며 하루를 시작합시다.
