내게 주는 교훈

Impure Words and Pure Words
불순한 말과 순결한 말
In a time when the faithful and dignified had nowhere to go, and it was overgrown with evil people and their sweet talk and arrogant words, the psalmist only waited upon the pure, true words of God.
경건한 자와 충실한 자는 오간 데 없고 악인들의 감언이설과 오만한 말만 무성한 상황에서, 시인은 오직 순결하고 진실한 하나님의 말씀만 기대합니다.

Thinking & Understanding
The psalmist could not find any honest and loyal people, and sighed at the reality that there were only lying, evil people. Because the people did not acknowledge that God was the sovereign ruler over the world, they tried to build their own profit by slyly lying to their neighbors. They persecuted and exploited the weak and poor (vv. 1-4). But because the psalmist knew that the words of God were true and right, like silver refined in the furnace and purified seven times, he trusted in the words of God and prayed that God will protect him from the wicked (vv. 5-8).
다윗은 진실하고 충성된 사람들은 찾아볼 수가 없고 거짓되고 악한 자들만 가득한 현실에 탄식(歎息)합니다. 사람들은 세상을 주관하시는 분이 하나님이시라는 사실을 인정하지 않았기에, 자기 이익을 위해 이웃을 교활한 거짓말로 속였을 뿐 아니라, 힘없고 가난한 사람들을 착취하고 핍박했습니다(1-4절). 하지만 다윗은 하나님의 말씀이 도가니에서 일곱 번 걸러 낸 은과 같이 완전히 순수하고 참되다는 것을 알았기 때문에 하나님의 말씀을 믿고 의지하여, 악한자들로 부터 지켜 주시길 기도했습니다(5-8절).

What Lesson is God Teaching Me?
It is not only hard and tiring to live an honest and righteous life in a world that is influenced by lies and evil - it is also lonely. It is because most of the people in the world do not live that way. But we are not alone. God is with us and gives his word to us. Do not listen to the words of the world, but listen to the words of God. There is nothing that can protect us besides the words of God.
거짓과 악이 판치는 세상 속에서 정직하고 의롭게 사는 것은 매우 힘들고 어려울 뿐 아니라, 외로운 일입니다. 세상 사람들이 대부분 그렇게 살지 않기 때문입니다. 하지만 우리는 결코 혼자가 아닙니다. 하나님이 우리와 함께하시고 말씀을 주십니다. 세상의 말을 듣지 말고, 하나님의 말씀을 들으십시오. 우리를 안전하게 지켜주는 것은 다른 어떤 것이 아니라 바로 하나님의 말씀입니다.

I will live honestly and righteously following the words of God, even if it is hard and I take a loss.
