Stand in the Lord
Paul concludes the letter by encouraging the Philippians to live a life worthy of the gospel in a practical way. He mentions those who are in conflict and asks them to be yoked together and pray to the God of peace.

What lesson is God teaching me?
Verse 1- To the community at Philippi that was in strife with one another because of false teachings, Paul expresses his love and that they have become his joy and crown. He also encourages them to be one with the Lord and stand firm. The joy and reward that a leader looks forward to are the believers who can stand as spiritual victors without blemish in front of the Lord on the final day.
Verses 2, 3- Paul mentions the two women who were at the center of the conflict, Euodia and Syntyche, and asks them to be one in heart. Paul says that these two women, Clement, and the rest of the fellow workers are not competitors but one family whose names are written in the book of life. If you no longer compete with others and lift up your fellow workers, then the day that your community will be united will come sooner.
Verses 6, 7- Prayer is not some trick, a temporary work, or insurance. To those who believe that God is alive, prayer is a practical, effective, and spiritual work that we must do above all else. What is the first thing you do when worry comes your way?
Verses 8, 9- In the end, Paul mentions the virtues that are worthy to receive praise in the Hellenistic world, and encourages the believers not to just hold onto those attributes in their hearts, but to put into practice all the things they learned, received, and heard from Paul. When we live a better life in the world that is against us and according to the gospel without any compromises with the world, the God of peace will be with us in every situation.
